What You Need:
1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
½ tsp salt
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp ground black pepper
BURGER BOWL
½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ tsp dijon mustard
¼ cup cheddar cheese shredded
4 cups green lettuce chopped
½ cup grape tomatoes sliced
¼ cup dill pickle chopped
¼ cup red onion diced or sliced
½ cup cheddar cheese shredded
1 avocado sliced
½ cup burger sauce
WHAT TO DO:
1. Cook ground beef in a medium size skillet over medium heat. Break up meat while it cooks. 2. Add salt, garlic powder, and pepper to the meat while it cooks. Continue cooking until meat is browned and no longer pink. 3. Remove the meat from the heat. Drain excess grease from the meat. 4. Add the worcestershire, dijon and cheddar cheese to the cooked meat. Stir to combine and allow the cheese to melt. 5. In a medium size bowl or plate layer the lettuce, cooked meat, tomatoes, pickles, red onion, avocado, and shredded cheese. Drizzle with burger sauce, or ranch dressing, or salad dressing Prep Time: 15 Cook Time: 10 Feeds: 4
BURGER SAUCE
½ cup Greek yogurt or Sour Cream (avoid mayo)
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 tsp dijon mustard
¼ cup relish
1 tsp vinegar or lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground black pepper
WHAT TO DO: 1. Add all the ingredients into a small bowl and mix together until combined. 2. Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
